Visas
It is recommended that attendees apply for their visas before June 2018 (at least three to four months ahead of the conference). If you are interested in attending, you are advised to start that process as soon as possible. Information about visa applications and more is available on the website of the International Visitors Office of the National Academies, located here: www.nas.edu/visas
A letter of invitation from the conference (to assist the visa application) will be provided upon request to participants who register for the conference. The letter is requested during the registration process. Payment of the registration fee during the registration process is encouraged not required. Financial Support for Students
SAS2018 will have a limited amount of funds available to support attendance of students from locations worldwide where economic barriers make attendance prohibitive. See here for details.
Students seeking financial support must have an abstract submitted in their name by the abstract deadline.
